Travel Hospice RN

Role: Provide compassionate end-of-life care in hospice settings, focusing on comfort, pain management, and emotional support. Assess patient needs, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate families. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care while adhering to regulatory standards. Document all care activities accurately and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities Include

• Assessing patient conditions and creating individualized care plans
• Administering pain relief interventions and treatments
• Supporting and educating families and caregivers
• Monitoring patient status and adjusting care as needed
• Coordinating with healthcare team members
• Maintaining detailed documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Providing emotional support to patients and families
• Following infection control and safety procedures
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• One year of recent RN experience, including six months in hospice
• Valid RN license and BLS certification
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to perform required tasks and assist patients
• Proficiency in documentation and PC use
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and handle pressure
