Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive care to young adult, adult, and geriatric patients in medical and surgical units.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver age-appropriate care based on patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs. Perform delegated duties within scope of practice, including lab testing, documenting results, and communicating critical findings. Float to different units as needed, demonstrating competency in assigned areas. Follow safety protocols, maintain lab quality control, and adhere to best practices in testing.
Qualifications & Skills: Current Colorado RN licensure or active multistate license, BLS certification, and ACLS certification within 30 days of hire. Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. At least two years of acute RN experience is preferred.
