Role: Registered Nurse in the Med Surg Float Pool, providing patient-centered care across various units, including Ortho Trauma, PCU, Surgical Oncology, Inpatient Rehab, and Medical Telemetry.
Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process—assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment—to deliver safe, effective care tailored to patients' age, psychosocial, cultural, and learning needs. Document care and promote interdisciplinary communication. Contribute to decision-making to improve patient outcomes and nursing practices.
Qualifications & Skills: Active RN license in Colorado or multistate license, Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days, at least two years of RN experience in an acute setting, Associate Degree (BSN preferred). Ability to float within the hospital system without travel required.
