Role: Pediatric Patient Safety Coordinator responsible for monitoring patient safety event reports, investigating data trends, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance care quality and safety.
Key Duties: Conduct monthly safety rounds, act as liaison to the Quality Manager, represent the hospital in safety collaboratives, and promote safety culture initiatives. Lead safety methods implementation, collaborate with safety and risk teams, and identify educational needs for nursing staff.
Qualifications: NYS-licensed/eligible RN, Master's in Nursing, 3 years pediatric acute care experience, CPR/BLS certification required. Certification in specialty areas preferred.
