- Monitor and report patient safety events, ensuring appropriate follow-up with unit managers.
- Identify, investigate, and analyze patient event data trends to enhance quality and safety in care.
- Develop action plans in collaboration with key stakeholders based on safety data.
- Conduct monthly safety rounds across hospital units and act as liaison to the Quality Manager.
- Represent the hospital in safety initiatives such as Solutions for Patient Safety, promoting safety culture.
- Lead safety culture implementation and disseminate best practices hospital-wide.
- Collaborate with quality, safety, and risk management teams, providing education and support to nursing staff.
- NY licensed/eligible RN with a Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 3 years pediatric acute care nursing experience.
- CPR-BLS certification required.
- Preferred: Certification in a specialty area.
