Job Expectations:
- Deliver IT asset governance to achieve high-standards of compliance and drive results that make a positive impact to the organization by monitoring systems for non-compliance in ITAM-related data management and process execution. Identify and flag users, hardware, and software that are out of compliance, initiating corrective actions or training.
- Support IT asset governance project outcomes driving engagements and projects on governance, audit, compliance and more to drive innovation, efficiency, and value. Achieving objectives, outcomes, and milestones in alignment with system goals and KPIs.
- Enforce governance policies and standards for ITAM governance. Provide recommendations on changes, risks, gaps, and industry trends through reports and presentations to align Fairview to excellence.
- Conduct regular audits to verify data compliance and accuracy, identify areas for improvement, and support stakeholders in meeting compliance standards.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT asset governance documentation, including governance, policy, standards, master processes, and governance procedures, ensuring clarity and accessibility through centralized documentation platforms.
- Deliver training programs through workshops, webinars, and one-on-one mentorship to stakeholders and team members on documented ITAM best practices and processes. Analyze trends of non-compliance to develop tailored training programs and convert findings into storyboards that highlight risk avoidance, cost savings, and maintain high compliance levels.
- Promote continuous improvement activities to maintain high data quality. Ensure the compliance, accuracy, and completeness of IT asset data by supporting robust data validation and verification processes.
- Enable a feedback loop system for ITAM Governance allowing for leadership-prioritized improvements, communications, or changes to process, standards, or more which allows for leadership, stakeholders, or impacted users to share with our team openly.
- Facilitate organizational change management and communications through collaboration with stakeholders by participating in regular meetings and maintaining open communication channels to ensure data consistency, completeness, and seamless integration across various systems and platforms, providing awareness of and compliance with IT asset governance, policies, standards, processes, and projects.
- Monitor and analyze trends in non-compliant data management, processes, users, and procurement methods, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions. Ensure that the governance team does not dictate ITAM processes but holds stakeholders accountable to policies and standards.
- Provide insights and recommendations on ITAM governance specific to the healthcare industry, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and value of IT asset governance. Highlight the importance of governance in mitigating risks, ensuring compliance, and driving value through data-driven insights and continuous improvement.
