Hotel Maintenance Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's facilities, equipment, and guest rooms to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for guests and staff. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and building systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff.
• Repair or replace fixtures, lighting, appliances, doors, locks, windows, and furniture as needed.
• Maintain hotel grounds, parking areas, and exterior facilities.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and hotel standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair records.
• Assist with emergency repairs and be available for on-call duties when required.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects.
• Help maintain inventory of maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Previous maintenance experience in a hotel, hospitality, apartment, or commercial building environment is preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
