We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our dynamic facilities team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair and troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance tasks to support building upkeep and aesthetic standards.
- Maintain facilities equipment including hand tools, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and other maintenance tools to streamline operations.
- Diagnose mechanical problems using schematics and mechanical knowledge; execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Oversee plumbing system maintenance including leak repairs, pipe replacements, and fixture servicing.
- Supervise or assist with maintenance painting projects for residential or commercial spaces to uphold quality standards.
- Support the repair of HVAC systems including troubleshooting heating, ventilation, air conditioning issues, and performing necessary repairs or replacements.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities; document work performed accurately in logs or CMMS records.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally from building occupants or management teams.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields such as manufacturing or building operations.
- Strong electrical experience including wiring, troubleshooting with schematics, and electrical equipment repair.
- Skilled in mechanical tasks such as welding, carpentry, plumbing system repair, and HVAC system troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools including hand tools, ohmmeters, schematics reading, and CMMS software.
- Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred but not mandatory; ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures involving MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) supplies and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective collaboration with team members.
