Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring smooth hotel operations. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using hotel management software
- Maintain guest records, process payments, and ensure billing accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
- Assist with night audit procedures when required, ensuring financial accuracy for daily reports
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards
- Uphold phone etiquette standards and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Support guest relations efforts to enhance overall guest satisfaction during their stay
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations preferred
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, especially bilingual proficiency in commonly spoken languages in the area
- Knowledge of hospitality management systems and multi-line phone systems is desirable
- Experience working in resort or hotel environments, particularly in guest services or night audit roles, is advantageous
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest relations practices is beneficial
