Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Cook and prepare a variety of breakfast items, including hot dishes, pastries, and beverages.
- Maintain food safety standards during meal preparation and service.
- Buss tables promptly after guests have finished their meals to maintain a tidy dining area.
- Communicate effectively with guests to provide information about menu items and accommodate special requests.
- Utilize OpenTable or similar systems for managing reservations or guest inquiries.
- Assist with catering services as needed for special events or large groups.
- Ensure coffee and other beverage stations are well-stocked and maintained throughout service hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and presentation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with bussing techniques and maintaining dining area cleanliness.
- Experience with meal preparation and catering services is a plus.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and beverage service is desirable.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries or reservations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
