Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage guest inquiries and requests with a friendly, professional attitude, providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Oversee the night audit process by reconciling daily financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and billing adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of all overnight activities, including guest arrivals, departures, and incident reports.
- Monitor security systems and conduct routine surveillance to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and hotel property.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently to appropriate departments or personnel.
- Assist with front desk operations during quieter hours, supporting guest services such as wake-up calls or special requests.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any guest concerns or facility issues promptly.
- Uphold hospitality standards by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to hotel policies throughout your shift.
- Prepare detailed shift reports to communicate relevant information to daytime staff for continuity of service.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel operations is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated candidates eager to learn.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest interactions professionally and courteously.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest relations in diverse environments.
