Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and inviting.
- Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and restock supplies to meet guest expectations.
- Perform detailed floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness of all surfaces.
- Handle waste disposal responsibly and ensure proper disposal of linens and trash in designated areas.
- Maintain safety standards by using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Assist with public area cleaning duties such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms to uphold the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is preferred; hotel experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning practices.
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
