Duties
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and elevators, ensuring they are spotless and inviting at all times
- Assist with floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and polishing surfaces to uphold the hotel’s high standards of hygiene
- Support housekeeping staff by replenishing supplies in public restrooms and guest corridors, ensuring all amenities are stocked and functional
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks including trash removal, window cleaning, dusting, and detailed cleaning of furniture and fixtures
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, utilizing appropriate equipment to deep clean carpets or sanitize large areas efficiently
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all cleaning activities to prevent slips or accidents
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial services is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and custodial procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Familiarity with hospitality environments and customer service principles is a plus
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy supplies, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks comfortably
- A positive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
