Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Front Desk Agent to serve as the welcoming face of our Fairfield by Marriott hotel. Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their stay.
- Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures using the FOSSE Property Management System (PMS).
- Manage reservations, room assignments, modifications, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls using proper phone etiquette while assisting guests with questions and requests.
- Process credit card payments, authorizations, and guest folios accurately in accordance with hotel policies.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready and hotel standards are maintained.
- Assist guests with hotel amenities, local recommendations, directions, and special requests.
- Resolve guest concerns and service recovery situations professionally and promptly.
- Complete daily reports, data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area while following Marriott brand standards.
- Support team members and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
- Provide bilingual support when available to assist a diverse guest population.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, customer service, or guest services experience preferred.
- Experience with FOSSE PMS or other hotel property management systems is highly preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with hotel reservation and payment processing systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude with a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills and professional phone etiquette.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus and may enhance guest communication.
- Marriott hotel experience is beneficial but not required.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
