What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Breakfast Attendant position at Fairfield by Marriott?
Are you a morning person? Would you like your work day to be finished by noon? We're looking for a friendly, dependable Breakfast Attendant to join our team!
Starting Pay: $15 per hour
Schedule Requirement (Must Have): Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Shift Times: Shift begins at 5:30am. Typical end time is 12-12:30pm. Position is 2 days per week, with occasional extra shifts available (if interested).
Job Duties:
- Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar according to brand standards.
- Prepare and restock food items (eggs, meats, breads, fruit, coffee, etc.)
- Keep the breakfast area clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Clean and sanitize tables, counters and kitchen areas.
- Wash dishes and store equipment properly.
- Assist with basic inventory and prep for the next day.
- Start time is 6:00am (breakfast opens one hour later, giving you that hour to set up)
- End time is typically by 12:00-12:30pm, depending on how long it takes to clean up and prep for the following day.
Qualifications:
- Reliable and punctual (early morning shift is essential).
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with guests.
- Able to multitask and stay organized.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus (not required).
Additional Hours (Optional):
- Opportunities for additional hours may be available in other departments (front desk, housekeeping support, etc.) if desired. This is optional and not required.
