At Fabre Chevrolet GMC, our Service Advisors are the friendly, professional face of our Service Department and the first point of contact when customers arrive at our soon-to-be remodeled facility in St. Francisville. As a Service Advisor, you'll partner with customers to understand their needs, clearly explain recommended services and costs, and keep them confidently informed every step of the way — delivering the hometown care and trust that Fabre has been known for across south Louisiana. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt, courteous, and genuinely warm greetings to every customer in the service drive
- Listen carefully to understand the customer's concern, accurately document needs, and clearly communicate them to our GM-certified technicians
- Provide regular, proactive updates so customers always know the status of their vehicle
- Explain service recommendations, repair options, and costs in a straightforward, trustworthy way
- Write detailed repair orders and obtain customer approval before any work begins
- Highlight available warranty coverage, service contracts, and GM protection plans
- Guide customers through decisions — whether repairing with genuine ACDelco and GM Original Equipment parts or exploring a new or Certified Pre-Owned Chevrolet or GMC
- Help manage service scheduling and workflow to keep our shop running smoothly
- Notify customers the moment their vehicle is ready and ensure a smooth, friendly pickup experience
