Overview
We are seeking a reliable Deskside Support Technician to provide onsite IT support to end users. This role focuses on break/fix troubleshooting, hardware support, and maintaining a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite deskside support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues (break/fix)
- Image and deploy systems for new and existing users
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems
- Support printers, monitors, docking stations, and mobile devices
- Manage and resolve tickets within SLA timelines
- Assist with user account setup and basic Active Directory tasks
- Document all work performed in ticketing system
- Escalate complex issues as needed
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of IT support or field technician experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware & software)
- Experience with Windows 10/11 environments
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A or equivalent experience
- Experience with system imaging tools
- Basic networking knowledge (IP, DNS, connectivity issues)
