Duties
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and detect unusual behavior
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors
- Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies in accordance with established protocols
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious activity or theft attempts
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to resolve issues efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV systems and monitoring procedures
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR to handle medical emergencies confidently
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with security protocols, loss prevention strategies, and conflict resolution techniques
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel
