Position Summary
We are seeking professional, reliable Unarmed Security Guards to join our growing team. In this role, you will safeguard client stores, protect personnel and property, and help maintain a safe and orderly environment. This includes supporting operations, controlling site access, and providing excellent customer service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access points.
- Actively deter vandalism and theft through vigilant surveillance and presence.
- Maintain order and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and immediately notify management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and deliver courteous interactions with attendees.
Qualifications
- Must possess or be able to obtain a MD Security Guard Certification.
- Prior experience in security, loss prevention, or law enforcement is preferred.
- Relevant security or law enforcement certifications are a plus.
- Must pass a criminal background check in accordance with State Police guidelines.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification preferred (not required).
- Excellent communication, situational awareness, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Uniform & Equipment
- Should be able to purchase Class A Black uniform.
- Radios or communication equipment may be issued.
Work Conditions
- Shifts include Morning, Overnight, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Both indoor and outdoor assignments.
- Must respond within 2-4 hours of notice (for emergency staffing).
