Job Description: F F Mechanical is seeking a qualified Service Dispatcher to join our growing team. In this position, you will maintain HVAC Service technician schedules and dispatch technicians as customer service calls are received. Communicate with customers to determine their needs and schedule and notify service technicians of work order assignments using dispatching software. Our primary customers include commercial, industrial, and institutional organizations with small and large complex systems.
Job status: Non-exempt
Reporting Structure: The Service Dispatcher is supervised by and reports to the Service Manager.
Physical Factors: The Service Dispatcher works in the North Haven office. Sitting or standing for long periods working on the computer or at a desk is required.
Working Conditions: The position is full-time and works an eight (8) hour day. Workdays are Monday through Friday with workhours from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Occasional overtime may be required to meet the needs of the business.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
- Solid PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency in Excel.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong work ethic and team-player.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain positive working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization and with customers.

Qualifications:
- Associate Degree is preferred, but not required.
- 2-5 years Dispatch experience.
- Experience working in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC)
