About the Role
As a Dental Hygienist, you'll play an essential role in helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health through preventive care, education, and collaboration with our dental providers.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive oral health assessments.
- Complete prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling, and root planing.
- Take digital dental radiographs.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with dentists to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment.
Qualifications
Required
- Active New York State Dental Hygienist License
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
- Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach
Preferred
- Experience working in a private practice, community health center, or multi-specialty clinic
- Experience with electronic dental records and digital radiography
