Your Impact
As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our dentists and ensuring every patient receives outstanding care from the moment they arrive until their visit is complete.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment by reviewing medical history and escorting them to treatment rooms.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms according to infection control standards.
- Take diagnostic and panoramic dental X-rays.
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, including instrument transfer, suctioning, irrigation, and impressions.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and discharge instructions.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment rooms.
- Monitor dental supply inventory.
- Perform rotational clinical duties as assigned.
- Support the Dental Director with additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Certificate or Associate Degree from an accredited Dental Assisting program.
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant.
- Experience taking dental radiographs.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
