Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optical Lab Tech / Optician to join our team. As an Optical Lab Tech / Optician, you will be responsible for fabricating, fitting, and dispensing eyewear.
Duties
- Fabricate and assemble prescription eyewear using laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
- Perform laboratory tasks including cutting, edging, mounting lenses, and verifying optical measurements with precision
- Inspect finished eyewear for quality, accuracy, and defects
- Assist with order tracking and ensure timely completion of jobs
- Repair or adjust damaged frames and lenses
- Measure and fit people for glasses
- Process and ship orders
Experience
- Laboratory experience with optical fabrication equipment such as lens edgers and mounters is essential.
- Optician background preferred
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
