Eye Clinic North is looking to add to expand their team. Enjoy a fast-paced, positive environment with the ability to learn and grow. We are looking for a career-seeking office assistant who is self-motivated, a people-person, a team member, a fast learner, who has a positive attitude and strong multitasking skills to work in an extremely busy office. Job duties begin with front office work such as reception and expand to include optical and technician services to assist the doctors in patient care. Eye Clinic North supplies, teaches, and pays for coursework and testing for all of it's staff. Retirement, PTO, and vacation are offered. Seeking full-time employment (9-5pm M-F).
We supply and coach the following home-study courses:
- Optical Course (Opticianry)
- Certified Paraoptometric (CPO)
- Certified Paraoptometric Assistant (CPOA)
- Certified Paraoptometric Technician (CPOT)
Scheduled wage increases occur with completion of each training course.
Requirements:
- A drive to enhance knowledge and value through home-study courses
- Work well with others and a positive attitude
- Strong computer, multitasking, communication and customer service skills
- Medical, nursing, or insurance background is advantageous
- No previous eye care or optical experience required
- Associates degree or higher is preferred
