Job Overview
Keweenaw Title Agency seeks a part-time Office Assistant, to join their growing team in Houghton, Michigan. This position is responsible for a wide range of administrative duties including handling a high-volume telephone and email communication system, coordinating with lenders, Realtors® and interested parties to facilitate the closing of purchase and refinance transactions, along with clerical tasks such as filing, managing mail, and scanning.
Duties
- Handle phone support for inquiries related to closings or customer needs
- Assist with emails, calendar management and scheduling closings
- Create files, organize closing files, and proofreading to ensure accuracy of documents and records
- Provide excellent customer service and support to customers as needed
- Other office duties as assigned
Experience
- Prior office experience or clerical background preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office , Gmail, and Qualia are a plus
- Strong organizational skills, time management capabilities, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service standards
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
