What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at Eye Associates of Lancaster?
Fast-paced, multi-physician ophthalmology practice is seeking a compassionate, energetic technician to join our dynamic team. From basic eye health to surgical interventions, our technicians assist the physicians in the examination and treatment of patients. Technicians are responsible for working up patients, triaging phone calls, performing testing and imaging as needed, ensuring exam rooms are prepped, and other clinical and clerical duties as assigned.

Necessary Skills for our Team:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Strong computer skills
· Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
· Punctuality and reliability are a must
· Ability to travel to our multiple practice locations is required
Experience Required:
· Certified Ophthalmic Assistant Certificate preferred
· Minimum 1 year ophthalmology technician experience required
