Extension is seeking a Director of Sales Operations for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Waukesha, WI!
We are seeking a Director of Sales Operations to lead inside sales, customer service, pipeline management, and orders forecasting. As the organization’s ultimate customer advocate, the DSO ensures technical support, rapid responsiveness, and seamless customer experience—while shaping long-term sales operations strategy and driving tactical excellence in quoting, pipeline accuracy, and customer satisfaction to fuel sustainable growth.
Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 2 direct reports and 7 indirect reports in sales and customer service
- Drive business growth through relationship-building and strategic account management
- Oversee inside sales operations for premium products in a B2B setting
- Manage complex contracts and ensure compliance with customer requirements
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and social engagements
- Develop multi-year strategic outlooks, annual objectives, and quarterly initiatives, ensuring alignment across the organization
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or engineering
- 7 years of experience in sales or customer service leadership
- 5 years of experience managing direct reports- managerial level
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience in aviation/aerospace industry is a plus
Salary & Schedule Information
- Onsite at Waukesha HQ's
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- $170k - $190k base salary plus quarterly bonus (OTE to be determined w/ Hiring Manager)
