- Operate multiple machines concurrently — with a focus on Swiss lathes — ensuring smooth operation and in-tolerance output.
- Drive production flow using Kanban and line stock signals; organize and manage incoming orders.
- Execute setups and changeovers for machines in the cell; confirm programs, tooling, and workholding are correct.
- Measure and inspect parts using precision instruments to meet quality standards and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate ordering of raw materials and tooling to support scheduled work.
- Handle shipping of materials, components, and finished parts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Machine Tool Technical Certificate or Associate Degree, or 2 years of relevant machining experience.
- 1 year applying mathematics, blueprint interpretation, and measuring tools in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform machine set-ups.
- Experience with SPC charting; capable of adjusting machines to achieve print specifications.
- Team-oriented, self-motivated communicator.
- Regular cross-training participation.
- Capable of standing for the full shift and lifting 50lbs continuously.
