Contract Production Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Contract Production Supervisor to join our team in Oshkosh, WI. This role is vital in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. As a Contract Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards. This is a 6-10 week contract to assist with someone being out on medical leave. $50-$60/HR

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output targets.
• Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Lead, train, and motivate production staff to achieve optimal performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper maintenance.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding new production team members.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes and quality control standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
