POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Ogden Central Warehouse Department. Assist other departments with secretarial support when approved. Perform the receptionist duties for the office. Must be highly skilled in self-starting and multi-tasking.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Answer incoming telephone calls; forward them to the proper employee or department while maintaining excellent customer service
- Welcome visitors, determine the nature of their business, and announce them to the appropriate employee
- Maintain security by following procedures and monitoring the visitor logbook
- Attend and monitor UPS/FedEx deliveries & pickups
- Keep office and breakroom supplies stocked
- Keep a current record of staff members' whereabouts and availability
- Create purchase orders for all of Ogden Central Warehouse's needs and for any other department if needed
- Send approved PO's to suppliers & distributors to arrange purchases
- Answer incoming calls to schedule dock appointments & update the scheduling calendar
- Monitor and reply to internal and external customers on the 'Central Warehouse' email
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent, and 2 years of experience in a related field
- Professional telephone etiquette, good communications skills and the ability to maintain confidential information
- Proficient with MS Office programs; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher, multi-line phone system, and working knowledge of office equipment
Pay: $22/hour
