Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations
- Install stationary battery systems, UPS systems, and telecom power systems
- Diagnose and repair battery chargers and UPS equipment
- Complete field wiring of batteries, chargers, and UPS systems
- Perform mechanical assembly as needed
- Use test equipment (multimeters, etc.) to measure and record voltage, resistance, current, and specific gravity
- Complete detailed field reports documenting work performed and time on site
- Provide professional, customer-facing service while on assignment
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or 3 years of technician experience
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and circuit analysis
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable working in field environments and traveling to job sites
