What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead all Quality Control (QC) activities on federal/DoD construction projects
- Develop, implement, and manage the Quality Control Plan (QCP) in compliance with project specifications and government standards
- Conduct daily inspections, preparatory meetings, and follow-up phases to ensure work meets contract requirements
- Oversee submittals, RFIs, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and government representatives
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, federal, and company quality and safety standards
- Identify quality issues proactively and implement corrective actions
- Maintain detailed project documentation including reports, logs, and as-built records
What We’re Looking For
- 5–7 years of construction experience, ideally with Project Management exposure
- 2 years in a Quality Control role within construction
- Experience supporting federal, government, or DoD construction projects strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of plans, specs, submittals, and construction documentation
- Experience with quality control processes, inspections, and compliance standards
- Proficiency with tools such as Bluebeam, Excel, and project management software
- Familiarity with Primavera P6, AutoCAD, or Sage is a plus
- Ability to pass government clearance requirements
