Shape raw metal into road‑ready strength

Step onto the floor where steel and aluminum become dependable trailers. Your day starts at the layout table: you’ll review blueprints, verify measurements, set up jigs, and stage material. From there, you’ll run clean, consistent MIG beads to build frames, ramps, rails, and other structural components—checking dimensions and fitment as you go so every assembly passes smoothly to the next department.

What you’ll do in a typical day
  • Weld & build: Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum; fabricate trailer frames, ramps, rails, and structural parts.
  • Read & measure: Interpret blueprints and drawings; use tape measures and gauges to verify dimensions and fit.
  • Own the quality: Inspect your welds and fabrications, correct defects early, and uphold company standards for appearance and strength.
  • Keep production moving: Work efficiently to meet schedules, assist with trailer fit‑up, and help prepare builds for assembly.
  • Work safe, every time: Use required PPE; safely operate welders, grinders, saws, forklifts, and fabrication tools; report hazards immediately.
  • Team up: Coordinate with CAD, assembly, paint, and shipping to maintain flow; contribute ideas to improve processes.
What you bring
  • Hands‑on welding and fabrication experience (MIG required; aluminum experience is a plus).
  • Ability to read blueprints/drawings and a tape measure accurately.
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet—standing, bending, and moving throughout the shift.
  • A positive, learning‑oriented mindset.
Work environment
  • Active manufacturing setting with welding equipment, grinding and cutting operations, dust/sparks, power tools, heavy materials, and varying temperatures.
  • Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and movement.
  • PPE required: safety glasses, gloves, welding helmet, hearing protection.
Proficiency & tools
  • You should be proficient in: Welding Setups for Production; Experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
  • Primary equipment: MIG Welder.
