Shift: Day Shift | Mon-Fri | 7:00am to 5:30pm
Pay Range: $18 /hr
Key Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and replace engine oil and filters according to manufacturer specifications.
- Check and top off vehicle fluids, including coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, transmission fluid, and windshield washer fluid.
- Rotate, mount, balance, repair, and replace tires.
- Inspect tire tread depth, wear patterns, and tire pressure.
- Perform battery testing and replacement services.
- Replace air filters, cabin filters, windshield wipers, and light bulbs.
- Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and report findings to service advisors or management.
- Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, suspension components, and other vehicle systems for visible wear or damage.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
- Keep the service area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Assist B and A Mechanics with repairs and shop operations as needed.
- Operate vehicle lifts, tire machines, balancing equipment, and other shop tools safely.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous automotive, tire, lube, or maintenance experience is required.
- Willingness to learn automotive repair procedures and industry best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop technical skills.
