Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: New Britain
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $19/hour
Job Overview:
We are looking for a dependable and organized Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This role involves a variety of clerical and administrative tasks, and is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys multitasking, and works well in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and screen incoming calls; transfer as needed
- Open and sort incoming mail
- Monitor Accounts Payable email inbox and print electronic invoices
- Match invoices with packing slips
- Enter invoices into the system accurately
- File supplier and customer invoices
- Enter customer payments into the system
- Prepare weekly check runs by pulling invoices
- Mark and file paid invoices
- Stuff envelopes and assist with mailings
- Email payment notifications to suppliers
- Track employee attendance using Excel
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Previous administrative or accounting experience is a plus
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Spanish Speaking is a plus but not required
