Nursing Supervisor

- Weekend Requirement: weekend rotation
Position Summary
Assumes delegated responsibility for providing supervision and support to clinical care areas and assisting in efficient and effective management of human, fiscal, and material resources. Assists in coordinating patient care and care delivery processes through oversight of the bed coordination/placement functions. Ensure a culture of safety, quality, service excellence, professionalism, personnel development, and team collaboration that supports the Middlesex Mission and the Department of Nursing vision, philosophy and strategic plan.
- A registered nurse who is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and is currently licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut.
- Prepared at the Bachelor's level or enrolled in BSN program
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to apply the nursing process in a safe and caring manner for relevant patient populations.
- Demonstrates strong communication, collaboration, coaching, and negotiation skills.
- Commitment to principles of transformational leadership and the ANCC Magnet model for nursing services.
