Precision CNC Setup Machinist (Metals)
Picture starting your shift in a well-organized shop in Cheyenne, WY. You review the work order and print, select tooling, and bring a CNC mill or lathe online. You dial in offsets, run a first-article, take careful measurements, and confirm everything meets spec before moving into steady production. Throughout the day, you keep safety top of mind, follow quality procedures, and help the team hit its goals.
Compensation & Schedule- Pay: $18.00/hr – $25.00/hr (DOE)
- 3 shifts to choose from (immediate openings, including 2nd shift)
- Set up and operate CNC equipment to manufacture metallic components per orders and prints
- Verify machine settings by measuring positions and inspecting sample workpieces
- Adhere to established quality assurance procedures and documentation
- Maintain safe work practices at all times
- Follow all quality policies, specifications, and instructions
- Support the team with additional duties as assigned
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Functional/technical aptitude with CNC equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident with hand tools
- Comfort with basic math
- Stand, walk, and reach for up to 8 hours
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
