CNC Setup and Programming Technician

Picture starting your shift in a clean, organized shop in Cheyenne, WY. You review the work order, load programs, verify tooling, and bring a CNC machine to life—cutting precision metallic parts to spec with minimal supervision. You take pride in keeping your cell safe, accurate, and ready for the next run.

• Full-time opportunity with a pathway to a long-term home
• Three shifts to choose from (including 2nd shift)
• Pay: $18.00–$25.00 per hour (DOE)

• Set up and operate CNC machines following work orders and prints
• Verify offsets and settings by measuring positions and first-article/sample parts
• Follow established quality assurance procedures and documentation
• Maintain safe operating practices and a clean work area
• Comply with all quality policies, specifications, and instructions
• Pitch in with additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor

• Clear verbal and written communication
• Solid functional/technical aptitude with CNC equipment
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Comfort using hand tools
• Stand, walk, and reach for up to 8 hours
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
