Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant will handle a wide range of clerical and support duties, greet customers, answer incoming calls, and assist with processing incoming sales. This role requires strong multitasking ability—especially with handling multiple live chat conversations—while maintaining a professional and customer-focused demeanor at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties to support overall office operations.
- Accurately enter sales slips and assist designers/consultants with processing sales.
- Assist with end-of-day tasks such as batching credit card terminals and preparing deposits.
- Collect payments and process credit card transactions as directed.
- Manage 2–3 live chat conversations simultaneously.
- Greet customers, answer phones, and provide high-quality customer service as needed.
- Support special projects as assigned by leadership.
- Provide coverage for the Receptionist during breaks and meal periods.
- Maintain strong communication and coordination with all team members and management.
- Complete additional related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of office or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills; AS400 experience is a plus.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented, cooperative, and willing to assist others.
- Comfortable with weekend and holiday schedules.
