What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Assembly Technician position at Express Employment Professionals - Bremerton?
You’ll join a booming, family-oriented, and diverse team where no prior experience is required. We’ll teach you the craft and give you room to grow while you contribute to producing quality goods in a safe, clean environment.
A day in this role- Kick off your shift at 6:30am with your team, review goals, and power up equipment.
- Assemble and package finished items with care so they ship out ready for customers.
- Inspect products against customer specs to ensure top-notch quality.
- Track materials and maintain inventory so the line keeps moving.
- Start up and shut down processing equipment safely and correctly.
- Keep machines and work areas clean to meet health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Sort and clean scrap for reuse or recycling; rewind/rethread raw material and remove unused stock at the end of the run.
- Reliable transportation
- Strong hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs throughout the shift, as needed
- Comfort standing and walking on concrete and climbing stairs to equipment as necessary
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Meet background check requirements
Hours: 6:30am–3:00pm, Monday–Friday (overtime may be required during peak periods)
Pay: $19.00 hr
