We are excited to introduce a new Healthcare Recruiter role, marking a strategic expansion of our company’s focus on healthcare staffing. This full-desk recruiting position demands a seasoned professional with robust experience in healthcare recruitment to build and lead our travel nurse and allied health staffing initiatives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment, demonstrating adaptability as we establish this function.
Responsibilities include sourcing and placing candidates, creating competitive pay packages based on bill rates, adhering to GSA guidelines, crafting and placing job advertisements, developing manager profiles, coordinating contract locks, and ensuring thorough candidate credentialing for each position. This role is pivotal in driving our staffing success and requires a proactive, detail-oriented recruiter to shape and grow this new venture.
This position sits within our Oklahoma City based corporate office, currently with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source and Attract Candidates: Utilize various recruitment platforms, job boards, social media, and professional networks to identify and attract qualified nursing and allied professionals
- Screen and Evaluate Applicants: Conduct initial screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit for healthcare roles
- Build and Maintain Candidate Pipelines: Develop and nurture a robust pipeline of healthcare professionals to ensure a steady flow of talent for current and future staffing needs
- Collaborate with Client Facilities: Partner with healthcare facility managers and department leads to understand staffing requirements, job specifications, and organizational goals
- Coordinate Recruitment Processes: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate communications, interview scheduling, and offer negotiations
- Ensure Compliance and Credentialing: Verify candidates’ credentials, licenses, certifications, and background checks to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards
- Negotiate Competitive Pay Packages: Skillfully negotiate contract terms, including but not limited to, bill rates, contract duration, and travel stipends, to secure favorable agreements that balance candidate satisfaction and client expectations
- Promote Employer Brand: Represent the organization professionally to candidates, promoting the company’s values, culture, and opportunities to attract top talent
- Maintain Recruitment Metrics: Track and report on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, candidate satisfaction, and hiring success rates, to optimize the recruitment process
- Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with healthcare industry trends, labor market conditions, and recruitment best practices to enhance sourcing strategies
- Support Payroll & Collections Processes for Healthcare Staffing: Assist in training on and documenting payroll and collections workflows for healthcare travel staffing, contributing to accurate billing, compliance, and efficient financial operations under the Director’s guidance
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 2 – 4 years’ experience in recruitment, preferably in the healthcare industry strongly preferred
- Proven experience in recruiting and placing qualified Nursing and Allied Health professionals in travel assignments, ensuring successful onboarding and contract fulfillment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES
- Knowledge of Healthcare Staffing Processes: Comprehensive understanding of contract staffing requirements, including the ability to gather and interpret job role details through effective communication with facility representatives or Vendor Management System (VMS) personnel
- Skill in VMS Navigation and Management: Proficient in using and navigating Vendor Management Systems for accurate submission and placement of contract candidates, ensuring compliance with platform requirements and efficient processing
- Knowledge of Healthcare Roles and Regulations: Strong understanding of healthcare job roles, licensing, and credentialing requirements to ensure candidate qualifications align with industry standards
- Skill in Candidate Sourcing: Expertise in utilizing job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks to source diverse and qualified healthcare professionals
- Ability to Communicate Effectively: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and professional interactions
- Ability to Manage Multiple Priorities: Proven capacity to handle multiple requisitions, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced healthcare recruitment environment
Total compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary, commission potential based off gross margin sales, and comprehensive health and welfare benefits.
