ID3 is seeking an experienced Inventory & Warehouse Coordinator whose primary responsibility is maintaining inventory accuracy throughout our manufacturing operation while serving as the inventory lead for Fabric Printing Solutions (FPS).
This is a hands-on operational role responsible for inventory control, cycle counting, inventory transactions, warehouse organization, and material movement while supporting the daily Shipping & Receiving operations for ID3.
Because this position is responsible for coordinating and processing daily FedEx shipments and supporting late-day carrier pickups, the regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, or weekends, as business needs require, is expected.
The successful candidate will become the primary inventory resource for Fabric Printing Solutions while providing day-to-day support for warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving activities.
- Serve as the primary Inventory Coordinator for Fabric Printing Solutions (FPS).
- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, finished goods, work-in-process (WIP), and consumable inventory.
- Perform daily inventory transactions within the ERP system.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts.
- Perform physical inventory audits and assist with annual inventory counts.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root causes.
- Process inventory adjustments while maintaining proper documentation.
- Maintain organized inventory locations and warehouse storage.
- Coordinate inventory transfers between ID3 and FPS.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or replenishment needs.
- Recommend continuous improvements to inventory control processes.
- Support the daily operations of the warehouse by ensuring efficient material flow.
- Pull, stage, and prepare materials for production and customer orders.
- Assist with warehouse organization, housekeeping, and inventory storage.
- Coordinate material movement between warehouse and production departments.
- Work closely with Production, Purchasing, and Project Management to ensure materials are available to meet production schedules.
- Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage.
- Process receiving transactions accurately within the ERP system.
- Coordinate and process daily outbound shipments utilizing FedEx Ship Manager, UPS, LTL carriers, and common carriers.
- Prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, packing lists, and required shipping documentation.
- Ensure all daily FedEx shipments are processed accurately and ready for scheduled carrier pickup.
- Coordinate freight shipments with approved carriers.
- Verify outbound shipments for accuracy before leaving the facility.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Support Shipping & Receiving operations during peak workloads and employee absences.
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
- Complete daily forklift inspections.
- Transport inventory and materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience performing inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Strong understanding of ERP inventory systems.
- Experience using FedEx Ship Manager or similar shipping software preferred.
- Previous experience with shipping documentation and freight coordination.
- Forklift operating experience with the ability to obtain company certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
Regular Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
This schedule is required to support daily inventory activities, production demands, and the timely processing of FedEx and other outbound shipments prior to scheduled carrier pickups.
Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required based on production schedules, customer deadlines, and business needs.
