- Assess student progress regularly using formative and summative assessments, including standardized testing preparations.

- Foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and active participation among students.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, school events, and educational administration tasks to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
- Mentor new teachers or student interns to support professional development within the school community.
- Incorporate library services and resources into lessons to promote literacy and research skills.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, Montessori methods (if applicable), or other educational frameworks like early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced certifications preferred.
- Valid teaching certification/license for elementary education; additional endorsements in special education or Montessori are advantageous.
- Demonstrated classroom experience working with children at the elementary level, especially in grades 4–6.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Proven ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate writing skills, math strategies, and literacy education techniques.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or implementing early intervention strategies is a plus.
- Knowledge of classroom management practices and behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
- Familiarity with learning technology platforms and tools used in modern classrooms.
