Job Title: 12-Pallet Forklift Driver / Tube Operator

Pay Rate: Up to $20.00/hour

Location: Oxnard, Ca

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to operate a 12-pallet forklift and support daily operations at our cold storage facility. This role involves primarily working outdoors to move and stage pallets of produce, with occasional work inside refrigerated areas. In addition to forklift duties, this position will oversee the tube cooling line, ensuring produce is properly placed, cooled, and handled.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a 12-pallet forklift to transport, stage, and organize produce
• Load and unload pallets safely and efficiently in outdoor yard areas
• Occasionally work inside cold storage areas as needed
• Oversee and manage the tube cooling line operation
• Direct and support the tube operator to ensure proper product flow
• Ensure produce is placed correctly on the tube system for optimal cooling
• Monitor product handling to maintain quality and prevent damage
• Follow all safety procedures for equipment and cold storage environments
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding workflow and issues
• Assist with general yard and warehouse tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Prior forklift experience required (experience with multi-pallet/12-pallet forklifts preferred)
• Previous experience in warehouse, agriculture, produce, or cold storage environments preferred
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment in outdoor conditions
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and operate machinery for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable entering cold storage environments when required
