Job Summary
Expert Rentals is seeking a dynamic and driven Office Director to lead our property management operations and support the continued growth of our organization. This pivotal role oversees the day-to-day activities of our property management team, ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational excellence, and a collaborative, high-performance culture.
The ideal candidate brings 5 years of hands-on property management experience, experience with Appfolio, proven leadership and people-management skills, and a passion for driving improvement and efficiency across all workflows. As the Office Director, you will mentor team members, refine processes, resolve operational challenges, and act as the strategic bridge between staff, clients, and company leadership.

Duties
- Supervise and coordinate administrative staff, including clerical personnel and front desk operations
- Oversee calendar management, scheduling meetings, appointments, and events
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure quality service delivery
- Handle human resources functions such as onboarding, training & development, and employee relations
- Oversee payroll processing using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and manage budgeting processes
- Organize and supervise office supplies inventory and filing systems
- Plan and coordinate organizational events and meetings through event planning expertise
- Ensure compliance with office policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Review and maintain department SOPs
- Recruit, hire, and train new team members
- This position is full-time 40 hours per week in an office, some Saturdays required. This is not a virtual position
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in property management, managing 100 doors or properties
- Experience with Appfolio
- Texas Real Estate license preferred
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills for team management, client interactions, and vendor negotiations
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, calendar management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in event planning, human resources functions, payroll processing, budgeting, bookkeeping, and vendor management preferred
- Knowledge of front desk operations, filing systems, and multi-line phone systems
- Ability to lead training & development initiatives for staff members
- Demonstrated professionalism with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
