What's the Job?
- Utilize DDS software to analyze distribution utility poles for grid modernization or line rebuild projects.
- Track project due dates and collaborate with design teams, project managers, and line coordinators to ensure design accuracy and quality.
- Assist in handling routine problems and support the development of technical reports and documentation.
- Support design of grid modernization and transmission-related projects across service territories.
- Participate in travel as needed for project support and damage assessment during storms.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of related utility industry experience or an Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Civil/Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- Ability to read and understand schematic drawings.
- Comfortable with customer service and data entry tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Physical demand level is sedentary; ability to support travel within service territory.
