Job Title:Technical Support Engineer
Location:Madison, WI
- Must be able to travel throughout the State of Wisconsin, including overnight stays as needed.
- A valid Wisconsin driver’s license is required.
- Mileage reimbursement will be provided at $0.51 per mile for travel from the employee’s normal place of work to the off-site location and for the return trip, if a personal vehicle is used.
- Provide maintenance and support for Wisconsin Court System software and hardware.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software across multiple locations throughout Wisconsin.
- Deliver technical customer support to court system employees and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Perform field service tasks such as hardware upgrades and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability.
- Respond promptly to unplanned events like system failures or natural disasters affecting production systems.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an enterprise IT environment.
- Proven ability to install, configure, repair, and maintain computer hardware and peripherals.
- Excellent customer service skills with strong communication and logical thinking abilities.
- Knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware, and local and wide area networking principles.
- Associate’s Degree in computer science, computer technician, or a related field.
