Top Required Qualifications
- Experience :
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on routing, switching, and infrastructure support.
- Minimum of 7 years overall industry experience in networking and infrastructure roles.
- Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Networking Expertise :
- Strong foundation in IP networking fundamentals and routing protocols.
- Extensive experience with OSPF, ISIS, BGP, TCP/IP.
- Deep understanding of Cisco platforms (e.g., 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, 76xx) and associated line cards and supervisory modules.
- Scripting/Automation Skills :
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Java.
- Troubleshooting & Communication :
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Experience with a broad range of networking technologies and protocols, including but not limited to:
- DWDM, T1/DS1, DS3, SONET (OC3/OC48)
- Ethernet standards (802.2/3), VLANs/STP (802.1d)

- Participate in on-call rotations and support escalations as needed.
- Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures.
