What's the Job?
- Follow standard operating procedures to generate high-quality transgenic and genome editing events for trait discovery and product development.
- Prepare explants, perform transformation, and regenerate tissue to produce transgenic or genome-edited plants.
- Maintain accurate electronic and legal notebook records, summarizing results and identifying areas for improvement.
- Execute laboratory work adhering to safety and ergonomic standards, organizing daily workflow to meet project timelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, exhibiting excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in plant transformation or related laboratory techniques preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols diligently.
