As a Facilities Specialist- IT Data Centers - ONSITE, you will be part of the Facilities Operations supporting critical infrastructure systems. Pay Range:
$35-$45/Hour
What's the Job?
- Operate, monitor, and maintain HVAC, CRAC units, chilled water systems, and cooling towers to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage UPS, generators, power backup, and battery systems to guarantee continuous operation.
- Perform mechanical repairs, parts replacement, and preventive maintenance to uphold system reliability.
- Work with controls, sensors, SCADA, and BMS systems to support facility automation and efficiency.
- Log and monitor key metrics such as temperature, humidity, airflow, and vibration to identify potential issues proactively.
What's Needed?
- At least 3 years of experience in facilities, mechanical, HVAC, or a similar environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of industrial controls, PLCs, SCADA, and building automation systems.
- Experience with critical facility systems like UPS and power generation.
- Ability to work 24/7 shifts to support continuous operations.
